Cookies
This site only uses technical cookies needed for it to work. There are no profiling, advertising or third-party cookies, so no consent banner is needed.

Visit statistics
The site counts how many browsers visit it each day and which page they land on. Only aggregate numbers are stored (for example: 30 September, home page, 12 visitors): no IP address, no identifier, no device information.
Contact form
If you write to me, I keep your name, email, subject and message only to reply, until I delete them. To limit spam I also store a one-way fingerprint of your IP address, from which the address cannot be recovered.
Providers
The site is hosted by Vercel (servers and files) and data is stored in a Neon database; they process data on the controller's behalf. Like any hosting service, their servers may keep technical request logs (for example the IP address) for security and operation, under their own privacy policies.
Fonts are served by the site itself: your browser does not contact Google or other external services to load them.
In the molecule builder, if you press “Ask PubChem”, the site's server sends PubChem (US National Library of Medicine) only the structure you drew, as SMILES, to get its name back. No personal data is passed on and your browser does not contact PubChem. The 3D view uses the 3Dmol.js library, served by the site itself.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data by writing through the contact form. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (garanteprivacy.it) or your local authority.
